CHEER CLASSES

Cheer classes take place during the All-Star Cheer off-season which runs through the spring and summer months.

Tumbling for Cheer

  • Girls & Boys (1st grade & up)

  • 60 mins/1x week


No minimum skills required

Learn the proper techniques and execution of the handstand, cartwheel, round-off, bridge kick-over, back walkover and beginning techniques of the standing back handspring as well as how to execute tumbling passes in a cheer routine.


Tumbling / Stunting for Cheer Level 1

  • Girls & Boys

  • 1 hour/1x week


This class is designed for those who are working on Level 1 stunts. This class teaches the fundamental principals of basing and flying, while focusing greatly on timing and technique. Stunts will include but are not limited to:

Thigh Stands, Single Leg Stunts (below shoulder level), Elevators, Shoulder Sits, Straddle Sits, Pyramids, Stunt Transitions, Cradles


Tumbling / Stunting for Cheer Level 2

  • Girls & Boys

  • 1 hours/1x week


This class is designed for those who are working on Level 2 stunts. This class continues to build upon the fundamental principals of basing and flying, while focusing greatly on timing and technique. Stunts will include but are not limited to:

Elevators, Extension, Single Leg Stunts, Straight Ride Tosses, Twisting Mounts, Pyramids, Stunt Transitions, Log Rolls, 1/4 turn Dismounts, Cradles


Tumbling / Stunting for Cheer Level 3

  • Girls & Boys

  • 1 hours/1x week


This class is designed for those who are working on Level 3 stunts. This class will focus entirely on timing, technique and core training for both fliers and bases. Stunts will include but are not limited to:

Extened Stunts, Extended Single Leg Stunts (Libs, Heel Stretch, Bow & Arrow) , Twisting Mounts, Twisting Dismounts, Twisting Transitions, Baskets (Toe Touch, Pretty Girl, Ball Out, Full Up), Pyramids
