A Passion for Gymnastics
Lynn Wingert, co-owner and founder of Ultimate Performance Gymnastics and Cheer (UPGC) in Chippewa Falls, brings over five decades of deep-rooted experience in the sport of gymnastics. Her journey spans roles as a competitor, coach, official, and proud parent of two former gymnasts and all-star cheerleaders. Throughout her career, Lynn has coached at top-tier gymnastics programs across the country, earning a reputation for excellence and dedication.
Her inspiration for opening UPGC was driven by a heartfelt desire to give back to the Chippewa Valley community. Lynn envisioned a space where young athletes could receive world-class training in a facility designed to uphold the highest standards of the sport—nurturing not just skill, but confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for gymnastics. Lynn's notable experience and record of success includes:
Certified National Coach, Level 10 Gymnastic Official and National Safety Certified Professional Member
National competitor and team coach for Parkettes National Gymnastic Training Center
Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association All-Around State Champion
NCAA Division 1 gymnast at California State University, Fullerton. National Championship runners-up
West Virginia University gymnastics team member and graduate assistant gymnastics coach

A Passion for Cheer
Tara Krista, co-owner of Ultimate Performance Gymnastics and Cheer (UPGC) in Chippewa Falls, brings over 35 years of hands-on experience in the world of cheerleading—as both a dedicated athlete and an accomplished coach. In 2011, she made a lasting impact on the community by founding Chippewa Valley Spirit, the region’s first non-profit youth All Star Cheerleading organization.
As a proud mother of four, including a former gymnast and All Star cheerleader, Tara’s passion for youth athletics runs deep. She became co-owner of UPGC in 2014, helping to relaunch the business with a bold vision and overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art facility tailored specifically for both gymnastics and cheerleading. Tara's notable experience and record of success includes:
USASF credentialed coach for levels 1-4
NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) certified
Founded the Chippewa Valley's first non-profit youth All Star Cheerleading organization
Former coach/captain of the University of Wisconsin - Stout Blue Devils Cheer and Stunt Team
