With over 25 employees, UPGC has a diverse, talented and experienced staff committed to our mission. Our coaches share their wealth of knowledge with each other and work together as a team to raise every child to his or her potential regardless of where they start. Our team coaching philosophy is what makes our staff special. We collaborate to help every child get the most out of gymnastics and cheer! Our staff is safety-certified and have undergone employment background checks. We invest in our staff, sponsoring opportunities for advanced training and professional growth so that we are always moving forward. A Passion for Gymnastics
UPGC co-owner and founder, Lynn Wingert of Chippewa Falls, has over 50 years of experience with the sport of gymnastics as a competitor, coach and official, as well as a parent of former gymnasts and an all-star cheerleaders. She has coached at gymnastics programs across the country. Lynn's motivation for opening the facility was to give back to the children of the Chippewa Valley by providing exceptional training at a well-equipped facility dedicated to the highest standards of the sport. Certified National Coach and Level 10 Gymnastic Official with over 20 years judging experience

Former team coach for Parkettes National Gymnastic Training Center
Former team coach for Aerial-Port Gymnastics in Fairmont, West Virginia
Former team coach for All Starz Academy in Kingman, Arizona
Former team coach for the Eau Claire YMCA. Level 3-4 State Champion teams

Former Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association All-Around State Champion
NCAA Division 1 scholarship gymnasts at California State University, Fullerton

A Passion for Cheer
UPGC co-owner, Tara Krista of Chippewa Falls, has over 30 years of experience with the sport of cheer as an athlete and coach, in addition to founding the Chippewa Valley's first non-profit youth All Star Cheerleading organization, the Chippewa Valley Spirit in 2011. She is a parent of 4, which includes a gymnast and all-star cheerleader. Tara joined as co-owner when the business re-launched as Ultimate Performance Gymnastics and Cheer (UPGC) in 2014, and constructed a custom facility designed for both sports. Tara's notable experience and record of success includes:
USASF credentialed coach for levels 1-4
NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) certified
Founded the Chippewa Valley's first non-profit youth All Star Cheerleading organization
Former coach/captain of the University of Wisconsin - Stout Blue Devils Cheer and Stunt Team
