Which Gymnastic Class is Right for My Child?
For preschool through Kindergarten, we offer 4 different classes based on your child's age and level of independence. For school-age gymnastics we offer 5 different progressive classes starting at the introductory level. If your child has experience beyond the introductory level, please call us to schedule a free skills evaluation to determine the correct gymnastic class placement. You can visit our Video Skill Cards page to see examples of the skills taught in our progressive classes.

What is the Cost of Tuition?
Rates are published on our current
Schedule page. Our tuition rate per hour is comparable or lower-cost than other quality programs. We are proud to offer affordability without sacrificing quality! We also offer a 10 percent tuition discount for siblings or a 2nd class, and a 20 percent tuition discount for active military families.

Are There Any Other Costs?
We charge a $35 annual membership fee per child,
3 or more $99, that pays for non-teaching costs and secondary insurance. Carrying club insurance for all participants is a professional standard for all USA Gymnastics Member Clubs and helps protect your child. There are no added costs such as paying for membership in a sports organization in order to take a class. Our annual membership fee is renewed each September.

What is USA Gymnastics?
We are a member club of
USA Gymnastics, the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. This designation comes from the U.S. Olympic Committee, and the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). USA Gymnastics is the gold standard for American gymnastics, serving as a resource center for USAG Member Clubs throughout the United States, and selects and trains all U.S. gymnasts for the Olympic Games and World Championships. USAG Member Clubs also receive a wealth of knowledge and support in running successful programs where each gymnast can achieve his or her potential.

How is USA Gymnastics Different?
USAG's sole focus is high quality gymnastics. Other athletic organizations (AAU, YMCA, AGL, USAIGC) offer gymnastics in a multi-sport environment without emphasis on any particular sport, and/or follow a modified version of the USAG rules with fewer requirements. In terms of professional standards, a focus on safety and the best opportunity for growth in the sport, USAG is unmatched. Exclusive to USA Gymnastics:
Programs for gymnasts from recreational to Jr. Olympics to Elites
Safety certification required for all competitive coaches
Criminal background checks required for all adult instructors
Commercial liability insurance policy required for all member clubs
Unmatched gymnastics resources and support for member clubs
Professional memberships for competitive coaches & judges
Regional and National Gymnastics Congress training opportunities
Officially sanctioned gymnastic competitions at local, state and national levels
Events judged by multiple officials during gymnastic competitions
A path for gymnasts to earn NCAA scholarships, or advance to the National or Olympic Team

How Popular is Gymnastics?
According to USA Gymnastics, there are over 5.2 million gymnastics participants (6 years old and older) in the United States and over 4,000 clubs. This does not even include programs that are offered to younger children, such as
You and Me Kid or KinderGym offered through Ultimate Performance Gymnastics and Cheer.

How Popular is All Star Cheerleading?
UPGC offers All Star Cheer, which is a combination of gymnastics, acrobatics and athletic dance performed by competitive teams. All Star Cheer is among the fastest growing new sports in the world, growing by double digits each year. According to a report published by CNN, more than 200,000 athletes in the U.S. take part in competitive cheerleading each year, which includes high-flying stunts, powerful tumbling and tight synchronization in a growing network of competitions. All Star Cheerleading has gained in popularity to the point that certain colleges now offer All Star Cheer scholarships!
